Jordanian King Abdullah II is keen to confer with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the region's developments, said Jordan's Ambassador in Cairo Bishr Khasawneh on Sunday.
The King's visit came in light of the permanent coordination between the two leaders regarding different Arab issues, especially situations in Palestine and Syria, Khasawneh told MENA.
He added that Sisi- Abdullah meeting has also touched ways of boosting the bilateral relations.
"The visit was very important as it comes only few days before visit of King Abdullah to the United States of America," the ambassador said, asserting that the Arab world is exposed to a range of challenges that should be mutually faced.
