
Jordanian Interior Minister Hussein Hazza al Majali underlined on Thursday that the war, waged by Jordan against Daesh terrorist group, shows the keenness of Jordanian leadership, government and people to protect the kingdom, the Arab nations and the whole world.
The war targets also ending extremism before its spread, he noted, adding that Jordan aims at showing the true image of Islam with its moderate teachings which calls for renouncing violence and respecting the other.
The minister's remark came during the meeting held with high-level defense experts in Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
The two sides probed means of promoting joint cooperation in the security, political and economic fields.
They also discussed the latest political developments in the region as well as the Syrian crisis.
