The posting sparked a frenzy in the social media and speculation was rife about the King\'s message amid media reports that most arrested doctors and football players would be released and that Saudi Arabia would withdraw some of its security forces from Bahrain. However, Saudi and Bahraini officials said the troops, part of the Peninsula Shield, would only be re-positioned and would not leave Bahrain completely.
