
His Majesty King Abdullah II and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces on Sunday underlined the depth of ties between the two countries and their keenness to bolster these in various domains.
During talks, which took place in Abu Dhabi, the two leaders reiterated the importance of maintaining the political cooperation and consultations to meet regional challenges and serve both countries' interests.
The meeting also touched on ways to confront terrorism within a comprehensive approach that bolsters security and stability in the Middle East.
The King is accompanied by his Advisor for Military Affairs and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mashal Mohammad Zaben and National Policies Council Rapporteur Abdullah Wreikat.
Upon arrival at Abu Dhabi, King Abdullah was received by Sheikh Mohammed and other UAE senior officials.
