Thirty ISIL fighters and Kurdish forces were killed in northern city of Ain Al-Arab, or Kobane, since last night, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Monday.
In a statement, SOHR said 18 ISIL fighters were killed in Kobane last night, in addition to two suicide bombers who blew themselves up targeting an office near a school earlier today.
The statement noted that around 10 ISIL fighters killed during an attack west of Al-Resh library, seven of them were suicide bombers, while clashes remained between ISIL and Kurdish forces until early morning hours.
As result, 10 personnel of the Kurdish protection units were killed during clashes, the statement said, adding Kurds were able to retrieve five ISIL dead bodies from the scene.
Meanwhile, a Syrian news agency (Syria Mubasher) said locals east of Deir Azzour discovered a graveyard that included 75 dead bodies near Hawi Al-Bahra area.
Earlier, in a different statement SOHR said that at least eight people were killed and 15 others were wounded in an explosion that took place at a gas factory, east of Damascus countryside.
