
Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) said Tuesday it had provided humanitarian aid to some 80,000 displaced Syrian families in Lebanon since the crisis broke out.
The Society is continuously providing aid to Syrian refugees especially in Jordan and Lebanon, where the majority of Syrians seek shelter, Head of the field team Dr. Musaad Al-Anezi told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) upon the conclusion of the humanitarian aid campaign which started last week.
The aid included food items, blankets, Eid and winter clothing, in addition to carrying out projects for breakfasting (Iftar), bakeries, shelters, coupons and dialysis, he noted.
Moreover, he praised the efforts of the Lebanese Red Cross in cooperating with the Society to deliver the aid to Syrian refugees, who exceeded one million in Lebanon
