Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif and Makkah Gov. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal
Riyadh - Arab Today

An assessment report of security and services at last year’s Haj was discussed at a meeting of the Supreme Haj Committee Tuesday in Riyadh chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and interior minister.
Prince Mohammed, who held the meeting at the ministry’s office, said that preparations for the annual gathering must be in line with the expectations of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, and the sanctity of the two holy mosques, according to SPA.
He warned that there would be firm action taken against anyone who tried to disrupt the Haj. The assessment of security and services for pilgrims formed part of the committee’s mandate, and was aimed at eliminating shortcomings for this year, he said.
Following the meeting, Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harthi, secretary-general of the committee, said participants discussed the assessment report of last year, which included checking the performance of all agencies. Several drafted recommendations would be sent to King Salman for approval, he said.
