Kuwait a great example of religious tolerance

President of the Islamic Chiefdom in Albania Sheikh Iskandar Bruchai praised the level of religious tolerance Kuwait enjoys, saying it is an example to follow for all Arab and Islamic countries.
Albania's religious authority is working on developing cooperation with Kuwait's humanitarian and Islamic organizations to support religious tolerance in Albania, the official told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Thursday.
Bruchai hailed the UN's honoring of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as a Humanitarian Leader and Kuwait as a Humanitarian Center.
Meanwhile, the official also said that he had seen some serious efforts to cooperate with Albania during his three-day visit to Kuwait, where he took a tour in the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, the General Secretariat of Awqaf and the Zakat House.
The Islamic Chiefdom is the only legal authority which runs religious, educational and cultural events in Albania, said Bruchai. The body also executes economic and humanitarian projects through donations received from inside and outside the country, he added.
