
Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Minister of State for Planning and Development Hind Al-Sabeeh approved establishment of civil society organizations on Sunday.
Al-Sabeeh approved the establishment of Kuwait Charitable Society for care and rehabilitation of elderly, Kuwait lawyers society and Kuwait society for the hearing impaired persons, a statement by the ministry said.
On the other hand, Sameera Mandani, acting director of coordination of labor and unions at the Public Authority for Manpower, said the number of citizens working in private sector has risen to around 33,000 by end of April 2014.
She explained that the number of citizens in private sector was 30,000 people at beginning of the year.
Mandani said the number of foreign workforce increased from 1.336 million in January to 1.371 million by end of April 2014
