
Kuwait officially announced supporting Qatar's request to the Arab League General Secretariat to call for an emergency meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers Council to mull the latest developments in Yemen.
In statements to KUNA, Kuwait's Permanent Representative at the Arab League Azeez Al-Daihani said that he has informed the General Secretariat about the Kuwait's support to the Qatari request to call for the foreign ministers meeting on Wednesday.
"The GCC Foreign Ministers Council's statement on the dangerous deterioration in Yemen would be top on the agenda of the emergency Arab FMs meeting," he noted.
Earlier today, Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby said that Arab foreign ministers would convene shortly to discuss the alarming situation in Yemen.
