
Kuwait Deputy Information Minister Faisal Laila al-Qalqam welcomed Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab's visit to Kuwait.
In a press release on the occasion of Mahlab's official visit to Kuwait on Sunday, Qalqam said Mahlab's visit comes within the framework of boosting bilateral relations, adding that Kuwait is keen on supporting Egypt's economy and fostering mutual relations in the economic field.
He added that Kuwait has always reiterated that Egypt is playing a crucial role among Arab Nations as well as a leading role in all regional and Arab issues.
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab is visiting Kuwait accompanied by the ministers of investment, housing and petroleum and Governor of Central Bank of Egypt.
During his visit, Mahlab is expected to meet with his counterpart Jaber al Mubarak al Sabah and other senior Kuwaiti officials.
