The Kuwaiti diplomatic missions in several countries on Thursday continued celebrating Kuwait\'s 52nd Independence Day, 22nd Liberation Day, and the seventh anniversary of His Highness the Amir\'s assumption of office. In Nicosia, Kuwait\'s Ambassador to Cyprus Ahmad Salem Al-Wehaib hosted a reception to mark the national days, which gathered a large number of official and political attendants, notably Cypriot President Demetris Christofias, Minister of foreign affairs, Minister of finance, Cypriot Vice President-elect, and a number of senior officials at foreign ministry, officials, diplomats, economists, and prominent figures in Cypriot society. During the reception, Ambassador Al-Wehaib lauded Kuwaiti-Cypriot strong relations, noting that they majorly improved recently in various areas. In Tirana, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Albania Najib Abdulrahman Al-Bader hosted a celebration to mark the national days and was attended by Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha, his wife Liri Berisha, Albanian House Speaker Josefina Topalli, Lulzim Basha, Mayor of Tirana, a number of Arab, foreign, and international organizations, ministers and ambassadors, Tirana\'s members of parliament, heads of various political parties, investment, economic, and cultural institutions, and members of Kuwaiti embassy in Tirana. During the celebration, Ambassador Al-Bader stressed the depth of historical and distinctive relations between Kuwait and Albania in all political, economic, and cultural fields, noting that mutual visits by senior officials in both countries fruited in signing many cooperation agreements between the two countries. In Jakarta, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Indonesia Nasser Al-Enizi hosted a celebration to mark the national days and was attended by many senior Indonesian officials such as ministers, members of parliament, presidents of political parties, heads of Islamic societies, and a number of prominent figures in the Indonesian society. During the celebration, Ambassador Al-Enizi congratulated HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah as well as all the Kuwaiti people and government on this occasion. In Laos, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Laos Nabeel Rashid Al-Dikheel hosted a reception to mark the national days, which was attended by Minister of Justice Chaleun Yiapaoheu, Khemmani Pholsena, Vice Minister of Industry and Commerce, Alounkeo Kittikhoun, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ponmek Dalaloy, former Minister of Health, Dr. Sananh Chounlamany, Vice-President of Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and number of parliament\'s members, ambassadors, officials, businessmen, journalist, as well as heads of diplomatic missions, offices of accredited international organizations in Laos. During the reception, Ambassador Al-Dekheel praised development of Kuwaiti-Lao relations and progress it is making in all areas, affirming keenness of both countries\' leaders in bolstering these relations.
