
Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Sabah sent a cable of condolences to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi over the death of the former United Nations secretary general Boutros Boutros Ghali.
Sheikh Sabah hailed Boutros Ghali's efforts in advocating regional and international issues as well as boosting the role the United Nations to maintain international security and peace, Kuwait News Agency reported.
Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Crown Prince (CP) and Deputy Emir Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah sent another cable of condolences to el Sisi to mourn the veteran politician's death.
A similar cable was sent by Kuwait's Prime Minister Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah.
