Kuwait FM stresses Egypt's pioneering role in solving Syria crisis

Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah stressed on Saturday Egypt's pioneering role to solve the Syrian crisis and other Arab issues.
Speaking at a press conference with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Abdullatif Al-Zayani at the end of the 132nd meeting of the GCC Foreign Ministers Council, which kicked off in Jeddah Saturday, the Kuwaiti minister said that there was a Gulf-Egyptian initiative for the Syrian crisis.
"Syria's crisis hurts us all and all are concerned with it," he said.
He asserted that the crisis was always placed on the agenda of the Gulf meetings.
An Arab ministerial meeting will be held on Syria on September 7, he said.
About disagreements with Qatar and the return of ambassadors to Doha, the top diplomat said that it was agreed on measures in this regard, and in the near future there would be clear results.
