
The fourth meeting of the joint Kuwaiti-Iraqi committee kicked off in Baghdad on Sunday to discuss bilateral relations and review previously-signed agreements.
Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah had arrived in Iraq earlier today and was received by his Iraqi counterpart Ibrahim Al-Jaafari.
The Kuwaiti delegation is expected to meet with top Iraqi officials to discuss cooperation in economy and security, as well as participate in the committee's meeting.
The visit comes a week after the visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abadi to Kuwait on December 21st, where he met with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah .
