Kuwait national guard ready for emergency

The Kuwait National Guard (KNG) is on full alert and ready to address any kind of emergencies, said an official here Friday.
In a press statement, designated Undersecretary at KNG Major General Hashim Al-Refaei said the National Guard had taken the necessary steps to face any challenges that might threaten Kuwait's security.
The KNG, under the guidance of the country's leadership, is ready to defend the land and will also fully cooperate and coordinate with other defense entities such as the police and army to protect Kuwait against any harm, said Al-Refaei.
