A delegation left the country and is heading to Morocco on Monday to participate in the 14th meeting of the executive committee of the Arab Parliamentary Union.
The delegation is headed by Chairman of the executive committee of the union MP Faisal Al-Shayaa and it includes committee member MP Saif Al-Azmi, said a National Assembly Secretariat statement.
The meeting in Marrakech will discuss the union's agenda, and also study the report of the miniature committee meeting held in Beirut last April which addressed the employee structure of the Union Secretariat, said the assembly.
Moreover, the meeting will discuss calling off debt of some union caucuses and deciding on mechanism to elect a Secretary General, the statement mentioned.
Officials will study executing the resolutions issued by the union's 20th conference held in Kuwait last January and the state of affairs of the Secretariat.
Furthermore, the meeting will decide date and place for the upcoming conferences of the union and of its executive committee and the two agendas, the statement added.
