
Planning and coordination regarding Eagle Resolve 2015 military exercise are ongoing by teams participating in the planning meetings, Kuwaiti Army said Monday.
The meetings also tackle consolidating visions and coordinating cooperation in anti-terrorism fields, border security, and crisis and disasters management, the Army's Moral Guidance and Public Relations Department said in a press statement. It added that this exercise aims at boosting cooperation in the regional defense field between Kuwait, Gulf Cooperation Council, Arab, and international countries, as well as exchanging expertise in managing joint operations for countering challenges. It pointed out that the exercise also aims at increasing cooperation, understanding, and level of operational readiness among joint forces.
Meanwhile, Brigadier Faleh Al-Thamen, head of the Jordanian delegation to the meetings, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Kuwait for inviting his country to take part at the military exercise.
Head of Egypt's participating delegation Colonel Saad Mahmoud Bader ElDin also wished the joint exercise success under the auspices of His Highness the Amir and the Supreme Commander of Kuwaiti Armed Forces.
Captain Osama Hussein Ali, Head of Bahrain's delegation, stressed importance of his country's participation at Eagle Resolve 2015, pointing out that it comes under the framework of bolstering joint military cooperation between the Kingdom, Arab, and international countries.
Eagle Resolve 2015 is organized by the Kuwaiti Army, in participation with Interior Ministry, National Guards, Kuwait Fire Services Directorate (KFSD), and Information Ministry, and in cooperation with U.S. Central Command, Armed forces of Arab and international countries.
