Kuwaiti defense minister highlights governors' role in public policy

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah on Tuesday stressed the role of governors in the implementation of the state public policy, as well as following up citizens' affairs, each in his governorate.
Sheikh Khaled received today the Governor of the Capital City retired Lieut-General Thabit Al-Muhanna, and Governor of Hawally retired General Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Ministry's Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations said in a statement.
The three exchanged friendly talks and discussed a host of important issues, it added.
The Minister of Defense appreciated the efforts exerted by governors contributing to stability in the country, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister.
