
Kuwaiti Army Deputy Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Mohammad Khaled Al-Khuder on Saturday made a tour to a host of units, expressing congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha started today. Lt. Gen. Al-Khuder visited the Kuwait 26th Al-Soor Mechanized Brigade where he was received by senior officials, Moral Guidance Directorate and Public Relations said in a statement.
Al-Khuder extending his congratulations to the Brigade personnel on Eid Al-Adha. He commended the efforts exerted by the brigade's personnel to upgrade readiness to defend the soils of dear homeland.
He stressed that the visit comes upon the directives of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah.
Lt. Gen. Al-Khuder visited an Army Land Force unit at Boubyan Island and was briefed on tasks of the unit, lauding efforts by all personnel who have watchful eyes on the homeland over the whole year. At the end of the tour, Deputy Army Chief of Staff also visited Air Defense Forces in Failaka Island, where he was received by top officials.
Lt. Gen. Al-Khuder conveyed the greetings and congratulations of His Highness the Amir and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to army personal on the occasion of the Eid.
Al-Khuder also conveyed the congratulations of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to army personnel on the same occasion.
Al-Khuder lauded the efforts of the armed forces nationwide, saying he is proud to witness the army's readiness to fight for the sake of the country.
