
The ministerial meeting of the 10th session of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Higher Joint Committee started here on Tuesday under the co-chairmanship of Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and visiting Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukry.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed all aspects of cooperation among all sectors of the two brotherly countries and held talks on issues of common concern.
Sheikh Sabah Khaled and Shukry inked a dual taxation agreement to combat tax evasion.
They signed several memos of understanding and executive programs that would contribute to enhancing institutional integration between the two governments in several significant domains.
The memos include a cooperation agreement between Kuwait's Saud Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute and Egyptian Institute of Diplomatic Studies and other deals on industrial, media, naval transport and port fields.
The memos also covered sectors of housing, higher education, scientific research and education as well as sports, media and cultural fields.
