
The Kuwaiti embassy in Laos has held a ceremony to mark the anniversaries of Kuwait's 54th National Day and 24th Liberation Day.
Kuwaiti ambassador to Laos Nabil Al-Dakheel told KUNA that bilateral ties between the two countries were progressing steadily, stressing on keenness of the two countries' leaderships in boosting them even further.
Al-Dakheel congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Kuwaiti people on the dear occasion. He noted that this year's celebrations of the national festivities follow the UN honoring of His Highness the Amir as a "Humanitarian Leader" and Kuwait as a "Humanitarian Center".
