
First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah expressed Sunday his country's condemnation of the terrorist attack which left many people either dead or injured in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli.
In a letter of condolences to Lebanese Foreign Affairs and Emigrant Minister Gebran Bassil, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled reaffirmed Kuwait's firm stance with Lebanon against such heinous act.
The attack in Tripoli Saturday, led to the death of nine people and the injury of 37 others.
Initial army investigations revealed that the attack was carried out by two Lebanese suicide bombers.
