
First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah held a lunch banquet on Sunday in honor of visiting Ethiopian Foreign Minister Dr. Tedros Adhanom.
During lunch, the two officials discussed boosting bilateral ties, enhancing cooperation in all domains, bolstering Arab-African relations and the latest developments in the regional and international arenas.
In addition, the ministers reviewed decisions that were made during the third Arab-African summit which was held in Kuwait last year.
The lunch was attended by Minister of Finance Anas Al-Saleh, Minister of Oil Dr. Ali Al-Omair, Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development Abdulwahab Al-Bader, Managing Director of Public Authority for Investment (PAI) Bader Al-Saad, Director of the Asia Department at the Foreign Ministry Mohammad Ahmad Al-Mejren Al-Roumi.
It was also attended by Director of First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Director of Protocols Ambassador Dhari Ajran Al-Ajran, Acting Director of African Department at the Foreign Ministry Hamad Sulaiman Al-Mashaam, and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Ethiopia Rashid Al-Hajri, in addition to a number of officials from the Foreign Ministry.
