
Kuwaiti Criminal Court started on Tuesday the trial of 29 persons accused of involvement in the bombing Al Emam Al Sadeq Mosque in Kuwait city.
The mosque, located in Al Sawaber area was the target of a terrorist attack, on June 26th, which left 26 people dead and 227 others injured.
On 14th of July, Kuwaiti Prosecution referred the accused to the Criminal Court. They included seven Kuwaitis, five Saudis, three Pakistanis and 13 illegal residents in Kuwait, while the 29th fled and his nationality was unknown.
Two of the accused were arrested in Saudi Arabia.
