
Kuwait's Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity and Water Abdulaziz Abdullatif Al-Ibrahim arrived in Cairo on Wednesday to take part in a meeting of ranking Arab water and power officials.The minister is scheduled to take part in sessions of the Executive Bureau of the Arab Ministerial Water Council, scheduled to get underway later in the day.Minister Al-Ibrahim and his Arab counterparts are due to examine implementation of the Arab Social and Economic Development Summit, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in January last year. They will also look into preparations for participation in the seventh water forum, due in South Korea in 2015, in addition to pan-Arab cooperation in the water sector.Moreover, the conferees will touch on various other issues such as cooperation with foreign states, regional and international organizations in the domains, as well as preparations for the second Arab water conference, due in Qatar on May 28th.
