
The Nationaly Assembly is keen on boosting the Kuwaiti-Iraqi relations, stated the visiting Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari on Monday.
Emerging from a meeting with National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, minister Al-Jaafari said he sensed during the meeting the Kuwaiti Parliament's keenness on developing these ties and the legislators' readiness to cooperate with "the new Iraq." Minister Al-Jaafari added that he briefed the Kuwaiti side about conditions in his country, noting that the talks dealt with mutual cooperation.
