A labor agreement has been renewed to preserve the rights of 800 workers at the Schlumberger Logelco oilfield services company.
The renewed agreement was put into force from April 1, 2016 until March 31, 2019, a statement by the Ministry of Manpower said Friday.
The agreement was reached by the ministry, in cooperation with the administration of Schlumberger Logelco and the General Trade Union of Petroleum Workers.
The workers will be granted profits from fiscal year 2016 and beyond, equivalent to 45 days of every worker's basic pay.
