Arab League Deputy Secretary General Ambassador Ahmad Bin Hilli discussed on Tuesday with Kuwait Permanent Representative to the League Ambassador Aziz Rahim Al-Daihani ways to implement decisions made in the recent Arab summit held in Kuwait, particularly with regard to the League's development process.
In a statement to KUNA after the meeting, Bin Hilli said that he discussed with Ambassador Al-Daihani the following up on summit decisions on the development of the League, especially in terms of its charter and ways to remove some of the controversial issues related to this matter.
Bin Hilli added that discussion also focused on reorganizing and activating Arab League offices abroad, in addition to political issues related to the Arab group's efforts at the United Nations, mainly the Arab draft resolution submitted on the Palestinian issue.
Al-Daihani on his part said that this was the fifth meeting with Bin Hilli, in which they tackled ways to follow up on the decisions made in recent Arab summit held in Kuwait, including ways to improve the League's mechanisms.
