Lebanese army troops wounded in attack

Gunmen attacked a truck of the Lebanese Army in eastern town of Arsal on Friday, wounding a number of troops, security sources reported.
It was still unclear how and with what arms the military truck was attacked.
The army, on Thursday, declared that three persons, members of a "terrorist group," were detained in Arsal.
The troops man checkpoints and stage regular patrols in and around Arsal, a town located at slopes of the eastern mountainous ridges marking borders with Syria.
Stringent security precautions have imposed there since the regulars engaged in fierce fighting with hard-line militants in August.
