Lebanese protestors sat on the ground in front of the Lebanese government's HQ in downtown Beirut.
Some of the protesting young men shouted against Lebanese authorities, while others threw garbage bags on the barbed-wire fence around the HQ.
Meanwhile, a convoy belonging to the liberal national current, led by Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, closed the gates to Lebanese presidency as part of calls for demonstrations on Friday.
The "You Stink" protest campaign, ignited by a waste crisis, has widened to reflect anger at the state failure to provide basic services.
It is seen as the biggest protest movement in Lebanon's history organized independently of the sectarian parties that have previously dominated politics.
