
Lebanese security authorities have released Kuwaiti national Misfer Al-Hajeri, who had been in captivity for a couple of months in Lebanon, the Kuwaiti Embassy's chargأ© d'affaires in Beirut said.
The release came as relevant security investigations with Al-Hajeri were completed, Mesfer Al-Waqayyan said in a statement to KUNA, adding that he would return to Kuwait later today.
The Kuwaiti national was abducted by an armed group in the eastern town of Baalbek in August.
