
Libyan Foreign Minister Mohamed al Dairy discussed with Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Zhang Ming on Wednesday means of promoting joint cooperation in the various fields as well as the current Libyan crisis.
Libyan Foreign Ministry spokesman Rami Kaal told MENA that al Dairy's talks with the Chinese official came on the sidelines of China's celebrations with the 70th anniversary of its victory in the World War II.
They discussed cooperation between the two nations especially that a national reconciliation government will be formed during the coming days under the sponsorship of the United Nations (UN).
The Libyan top diplomat thanked Zhang Ming for inviting him to attend China'a celebrations, lauding the roles played by China and Russia in the national dialogue held between the Libyan conflicting parties under UN Special Envoy to Libya Bernardino León.
Al Dairy will meet his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi to probe bilateral ties, Kaal underlined.
