The Libyan Parliament has rejected the new cabinet of Abdullah al-Thinni.
Thinni had presented a cabinet with 16 ministers on Wednesday, but members of parliament rejected those names on Thursday.
In exclusive statements to MENA, MP Galal al-Shouhaidi said that Thinni presented the cabinet formation to the parliament in line with the constitution.
He added that the formation was rejected.
Thinni, a former career soldier, has been the oil-producing state's acting prime minister since March.
Libya has been rocked by political instability since a NATO-backed uprising toppled and killed dictator Colonel Moamer Kadhafi in 2011.
