
Prime Minister of Libya's internationally recognized government Abdullah al Thani on Saturday offered his condolences to the UAE over the death of 45 soldiers in a Houthi attack in Yemen.
In a cable, Thani offered his condolences to UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
On Friday, 45 Emirati, five Bahraini and 10 Saudi soldiers were killed in a shelling by militias loyal to the Shiite Houthi group and former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh in Marib province, northeast of the Yemeni capital Sanaa.
