
The head of the authority in charge of backing Libya's journalism called for supporting the battle against terrorism represented in Daesh against the Libyan people.
Idris al Mesmari who is also the spokesman for a group of politicians, men of law, think-tank and journalists, said in statements to MENA that Daesh seizure of the city of Sirte is part of a wider scheme by the group to take control of the country's vital resources.
He called for dialogue among all parties concerned to agree on forming a national unity government and support the national army to repel terrorism.
