The Libyan Red Crescent Society (LRC) urged armed group in Sabha, south-western Libya to immediately cease fire after five were killed including a woman in an armed fight between Tuareg and Toubou tribes.
In a statement, the LRC petitioned both armed sides for a pause until volunteers could reach the hot sites to treat the wounded and help women, children and old people leave for a safer place.
Also, the society called on all parties to show respect for the Red Crescent patches which identify the workers and the volunteers.
Tribal sheikhs in el Tayuri neighborhood, Sabha exerted efforts to provide medical supplies and medicine to the people affected by the armed conflict.
