
Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met on Monday with a Libyan delegation taking part in the 18th summit of the COMESA, currently in session in Addis Ababa.
The prime minister expressed Egypt's support to the legitimate government in Libya to restore security and stability across the country and achieve economic development.
Mahlab welcomed a request by the Libyan delegation to hold meetings with Egyptian businessmen to discuss the role of Egypt's companies in reconstructing the country.
The two sides agreed to boost cooperation in the field of trade, pointing out that Egypt is a strategic partner for Libya.
