
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has signed an Egyptian flag, the longest ever, currently being prepared by the union of Societies for Persons with Disabilities (DPOS).
The flag will be presented to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi before the inauguration of the New Suez Canal.
Chairperson of the union in Aswan Mervat el Semman said persons with disabilities will also sign their names on the flag.
They will start to do so as of Saturday, Semman said.
Persons with disabilities in other governorates will also sign the 3-kilometer-long flag, she added.
