The Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court yesterday held the 5th Council of the Martyrs of Giving, in co-operation with the Supreme Committee of the Year of Giving, which aims to promote communication with the families of martyrs from the emirate while highlighting the noble values reflected by the nation’s martyrs.
The session, which was organised in co-operation with the General Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, was attended by Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Director of the Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, and Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy, as a speaker, as well as several officials. The council highlighted the issues of confronting challenges and protecting acquisitions as topics for discussion.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan stressed that the Martyrs of Giving councils reflect the coherence between the leadership, the martyrs’ families and the people of the UAE, proving the strong national spirit of these families.
During the meeting, Suhail Al Mazrouei praised the sacrifices and victories of the nation’s martyrs, adding that the UAE will never forget its loyal sons while highlighting the supreme leadership’s directions to give the families of martyrs considerable attention.
He also spoke about the UAE’s journey of development and stressed that there are many potential efforts to shape the future. He added that sacrifices are an important part of this process of building the greater national project while adding that the UAE has reached the highest international position.
He highlighted the UAE’s role in facing various challenges not limited to the economy, but also in other sectors such as ensuring regional security and stability. He added that they are confident in the wise leadership’s wisdom and desire to continue the journey of growth and prosperity.
He concluded his speech with a poem dedicated to the martyrs’ families.
The martyrs’ families praised the Martyrs of Giving Council in Fujairah and stressed that it reflected the values of coherence between the UAE’s people and leadership.
