
Chairman of the African Union High-Level Implementation Panel for Sudan, Thabo Mbeki, has presented a report to the Security Council on the developments in Sudan.
Positive deliberation was conducted by the Security Council concerning the report on Sudan.
The Security Council members have called for support to the national dialogue in Sudan at its political, economic and security levels.
The Security Council reviewed the efforts being exerted to pave the way and build confidence for participation of the armed groups in the national dialogue process.
In a statement to SUNA, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yousif Al-Kordofani, said that Sudan Permanent Envoy to the UN, Ambassador Rahamtalla Mohamed Osman, has sent a message to the Security Council's Chairman in which he referred to the road-map for the national dialogue and called on the Security Council to boost the national dialogue and to urge all the Sudanese political parties to take part in the dialogue and to refrain from any acts impeding the national dialogue process.
