
The ministerial meeting of the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) as well as Jordan and Morocco kicked off in Riyadh on Wednesday under Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al Jubeir.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss progress of the implementation of the GCC Supreme Council's resolutions, including follow-up of the implementation of the vision of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on strengthening the GCC joint action, and what has been achieved within the framework of integration and cooperation among the GCC countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in all areas.
The meeting takes up the latest regional and international developments and the recent security conditions in the region, including the situation in Syria, Libya and Iraq and ways to develop strategic partnership with Jordan and Morocco.
