
The extra-ordinary meeting of the Union of the Councils of the states members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Palestine Permenant Committee, started in Khartoum on Sunday focusing on challenges of the situation in Palestine and the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
The opening session was addressed by the Secretary General of the meeting Mr Arol Gae and addressed by the head of the Palestinian delegation Khalid Musman and the Speaker of the Sudanese Parliament , Dr Al Fatih Izz-Eddin.
It is to be pointed out that this was the second meeting of the union since the Israeli aggression on Gaza. The first meeting was held in Teheran, Iran, and was at the invitation of the 9th session chairman, Ali Aligabi, of iran. Representatives from Iran, Tureky, Senegal, Palestine, Bahrain, Algeria, Cameroon, Jordan and Chad attend the meeting.
