Arab League deputy chief Ahmed Ben Helli said on Tuesday that the 144th meeting of the pan-Arab body's council would discuss important files on Sept. 13, including the Palestinian cause and negotiation with the Israeli occupation authorities.
He made the remarks after the council's extraordinary meeting on Tuesday.
The session would also discuss the crises in Libya, Syria, Iraq and Yemen, he said.
Also, the Arab envoys would discuss preparation for a pan-Arab participation in the next UN General Assembly meeting, Ben Helli added.
Secretary General Nabil Al Araby is expected to continue consultations with member states over the joint military force during the next few days,
Asked about the delayed meeting to announce the formation of the regional military force, Ben Helli said this depends on the outcome of Araby's consultations.
