
Ten civilians were injured in a terrorist attack with mortar rounds that landed in residential neighborhoods in the city of the northeastern province of Hasaka on Thursday.
SANA reporter quoted a Police Command source in the province as saying that terrorists targeted Hasaka city with a number of mortar shells which fell in the neighborhoods of Tal Hajar and al-Nassera, injuring 10 civilians, who were transported to hospitals to receive treatment.
Some of the injured are in critical condition, the source added, noting that the attack also caused material damage to a number of houses and citizens’ properties.
Last Tuesday, five civilians were injured in a similar terrorist mortar attack on the city.
