
More than 30 people were killed when an oil tanker exploded in al Masbah area in the southern Yemeni governorate of Taiz late Sunday.
A group of Houthi militants raided the tanker, according to Mandab Press.
A huge fire erupted as a result and flames extended to nearby houses.
A number of cars parked in the area also went ablaze.
Activists posted pictures of charred bodies on their facebook accounts.
Bodies of the deceased were moved to the Al Thawra Hospital.
Also, about 100 people were injured in the attack, 40 of whom are still receiving treatment at hospital.
