Morsi\'s trial adjourned to Sunday

Cairo Criminal Court has delayed the trial of ousted president Mohamed Morsi and 14 leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood over alleged involvement in the killing of protesters in December 2012 to Sunday.In Saturday's session, the prosecutors told the court judges that Morsi was detained following his ouster on July 3 at a navy facility in the coastal city of Alexandria under the supervision of the interior ministry.They unveiled that that investigations have led to dropping accusations against 16 others of the Muslim Brotherhood leaders and they have evidence against those who have been referred to the court.Morsi and other defendants are accused of allegedly giving orders to their supporters to deal harshly with protesters during clashes that occurred in front of the presidential palace in December 2012.Two protesters and nine Muslim Brotherhood members were killed in the clashes.The court decided to use the help of Egyptian TV experts to check CDs showing photos and videos of the December 2012 clashes.
