
The Governor of Muharraq Governorate Salman Isa Bin Hindi, on behalf of himself and all denizens of Muharraq, expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister on the successful democratic parliamentary and municipal elections in the Governorate's constituencies.
Bin Hindi who toured some constituencies in the governorate has expressed gratitude to the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister the Chairman of the High Election Commission, commission members, magistrates, heads of services and voters. He also thanked Interior Minister and all MOI's officers, NCOs who assumed the maintaining of orderliness since the early hours of dawn.
He said that the calls to boycotting the elections faded away in the face of Bahraini people's love of their leadership and homeland.
He also thanked the Bahraini media and the press who had a huge role in conveying the news and explaining the true facts and displaying the nice image of Bahrain's elections to citizens and to the outside the world.
He concluded his statement by praising the highly patriotic sentiments of citizens and their awareness of the great democratic process enjoyed by the Bahraini people, their response and interaction with this major historic national democratic event, wishing members of Parliament and municipal councils success in serving the interest and welfare of the citizens and the homeland.
