'Murabiton' in al-Quds praises New Suez Canal

Chairman of Murabitun Authority in al Quds Youssef Mukhaimar has said the Egyptian people's success in achieving the New Suez Canal was another proof of Egyptians' interest in Egypt resuming its role in the Middle East region.

In a speech at the Journalists' Syndicate in Alexandria, Mukhaimar said there was a dire need for Egyptian and Arab media to cover the Palestinian developments.

Only Arab media reports will not be filtered by Israeli lobbies, he pointed out.

Murabiton Authority can send reports to Egyptian media outlets to keep the Palestinian case alive in the media coverage in Egypt, he said, noting this can help free the Palestinian case from any party links in Palestine.

"Our main role is defending al Quds against the Israeli attempts to Judaize it," he concluded.
