The Mecca-based Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned Tuesday’s bomb attack that killed two Bahraini policemen and injured several others in the village of Sitra, south of the capital Manama.
In a statement on Wednesday, MWL chief Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsin al Turki said that the MWL strongly denounces this criminal act that undermines the region's security and pushes it to division.
He also extended condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured speedy recovery.
Such criminal acts which aim to shake Bahrain's stability run counter to Islamic, humanitarian and international values and principles, he added.
